Playoff Bound: St. Louis Secures Wild Card Monday, September 28th , 2009 The St. Louis Lions have secured a berth in the Professional Baseball Circuit playoffs. The club officially claimed a wild card position today, on the strength of their 47-38 record. "Obviously we would have liked to have won the Pacific Division, but we're still proud of our accomplishment," said closer Ze-dong Phan. The club will be vying for their franchise's 1st championship when the playoffs get underway. |
