Knights Roytman to Miss Year Saturday, September 19th , 2009 When Chad Roytman was hurt against the Las Vegas Aces, the Los Angeles Knights were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 31-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Roytman would miss 13-14 months of the season. This season, Roytman has a 4-3 record with a 4.57 ERA in 14 starts. |
