San Francisco's Steele Sidelined for Season Thursday, September 10th , 2009 Erik Steele of the Peanuts just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old San Francisco starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Las Vegas Aces recently at Garibaldi's Grounds. Steele suffered a stretched elbow ligament while throwing a pitch. The Peanuts medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 9 months. |
