Year Over for Blackhawks Ollson Saturday, August 29th , 2009 After injuring himself, Blackhawks reliever Robin Ollson headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Ollson will miss at least 7 months with bone chips in his elbow. Ollson has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 73 strikeouts and 39 walks in 82 innings while registering a 5.71 ERA and a 3-9 won-lost record. |
