Bunner Thwarts Toronto, 10-0 Sunday, August 23rd , 2009 Brian Bunner led the Salt Lake City Coyotes to a shutout victory, 10-0, over the Toronto Titans at Titans Fields. "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Bunner recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location." Bunner yielded 9 hits and had 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in the standout performance. "I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Toronto manager Nigel Laverick said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching." This year, Bunner has made 15 starts, thrown 103.2 innings, fanned 102 batters and walked 39. His won-lost record is 6-4 with a 4.08 ERA.
