Denver's Dewey Duggan Injured Monday, July 20th , 2009 After the end of today's game between Denver and Tampa Bay, Dewey Duggan skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after colliding with a player at a base, the Cutthroats had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The shortstop will miss at least 4 weeks with a sprained ankle. Duggan is currently hitting at a .292 pace with 13 home runs, 31 RBIs and has scored 21 times. |
