Buffaloes Win, Move to Within 1 Game of SPBC Classic Series
The Winnipeg Buffaloes moved to within one game of the SPBC Classic Series, downing the visiting Vacaville Steelheads at Goldeyes Park by a score of 3-1. Buffaloes left-hander Izaiah Sanders had a strong outing in which he threw 6.0 innings of 1-hit ball. The win gives the Buffaloes a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Division Championship Series.

David Homeyer helped out the Winnipeg cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher drew 2 walks.

Winnipeg manager Matt Bryant praised his team's "energy."
