Game 5 was big. So was Dan Cassidy.

In leading Las Vegas to a crucial 12-0 victory over the Ottawa Capitals at Vegas Stadium, the Las Vegas starter rose to the occasion, tossing 9 good innings. Cassidy threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball as the Rollers defended their home field to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 Division Championship Series.

Ottawa could barely put a dent in Cassidy. The left-hander tossed 135 pitches over 9 innings for the Rollers, allowing only 1 hit.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Cassidy.
