Road Win Lifts Ottawa to 2-1 Lead in DCS
When the stakes were high, Willie Cantu raised his game to match.

The right-handed Cantu turned in a stellar performance in Game 3 of the Division Championship Series, pitching a 9-inning, complete-game shutout to lead the Ottawa Capitals to victory. He allowed 5 hits and struck out 10. The win gave Ottawa a 2-1 lead over the Las Vegas Rollers in the best-of-7 series.

Cantu was dominant for Ottawa. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits, while racking up 10 strikeouts. He threw 112 pitches over 9 innings in the contest.

"Willie kept his poise and got the job done," said Ottawa manager Mike House. "He was outstanding."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Vegas Stadium in Las Vegas.
