Johnson Now 1-0 After Subduing Pilots

The New York City Blues topped the Atlanta Pilots, 4-2, in Professional Baseball Circuit action at Blues Field. The standout performance belonged to New York City pitcher and Bloomfield, New Jersey, native Jim Johnson. Kevin Phillips picked up the save, his 1st. Atlanta, with the loss, is 1-6.
Johnson, the winner, is now 1-0, after putting the clamps on the Atlanta offense. In 7 innings of work, he gave up 2 runs on 2 hits, while collecting 9 Ks.
"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Johnson.
