The Los Angeles Knights got a magnificent effort from pitcher Andrew Schumacher, who kept St. Louis hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Knights win at Camelot. Reliever Chris Coleman picked up the win. His record improves to 4-4. Jesse Fiefield took the loss. The 7th-place Knights improved to 26-37.

The decisive blow was delivered by Steve Abraham in the bottom of the 14th when he hit a 2-run home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Jesse Fiefield to win the game for Los Angeles. The home crowd went nuts.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Michael Edelman.
