Keystones Rebuff Blues, 4-2

New York City got a terrific performance from pitcher Nate Kelley, but it wasn't enough to beat the Philadelphia Keystones. Philadelphia won the Keystones Stadium contest, 4-2. Kelley threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Miguel Valerio got the win, improving to 4-6. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 8 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Roger Cobos earned the save for Philadelphia, his 7th of the year.
With two out in the bottom of the sixth, Ozzie Reyes put Philadelphia in front, 4-2, with a run-scoring single. The Keystones went on to win the ballgame.
After the game, Philadelphia manager Corey Anderson applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
The Keystones, at 26-35, sit in 5th place in the Atlantic Division.
