Texans Suffer 5-2 Setback
The Philadelphia Keystones beat the Dallas Texans, 5-2. Philadelphia pitcher and Springfield, Massachusetts, native Herb Morgan led the way. Morgan, the winner, moves to 1-3. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 5 walks. Roger Cobos collected save number 6.

Naoto Sugahara had a big 2-run home run for the Keystones in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Philadelphia trailing 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a splitter from Brian Castetter, who is tied for 8th in the PBC in complete games with 3, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 11th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Keystones ahead, 3-2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Morgan told a Philadelphia Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."

The Keystones sit in 4th place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 25-34.
