Garibaldi's Grounds was the site of a competitive game between the San Francisco Peanuts and Chicago Blackhawks.

In a low-scoring tilt between the Chicago Blackhawks and the San Francisco Peanuts, two-time Great Glove Award winner Adam Muhammad was the difference-maker. The Chicago left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The Blackhawks sport a record of 22-34.

The Peanuts had few good swings against Muhammad, the left-hander, who threw 99 pitches over 8 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 4 hits.

"I thought Adam threw the ball well across the board," said Chicago manager Seth Butynski.
