A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Denver Cutthroats and Las Vegas Aces.

Denver turned a good performance from starting pitcher Terry Tyson into a 4-1 triumph over the Las Vegas Aces at Cutter's Cove. The Cutthroats sit in third place in the Pacific Division with a record of 44-40.

Tyson, the winner, is now 8-9. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while collecting 8 Ks. He essentially shut down the Las Vegas offense.

"I was talking to myself on the mound, saying 'attack, attack, attack, stay convicted, no matter what,'" said Tyson.
