Texans Pull Out Late-Game Win, 6-5
The Dallas Texans weathered a fine game by St. Louis right fielder Will Bruhn to upend the Lions, 6-5, at Everything's Bigger in Texas Ballpark. Bruhn was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Dallas reliever Roberto Negrete picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Ze-dong Phan absorbed the loss. Dallas, now 33-47, holds down 7th place in the Pacific Division.

Dallas took a 6-5 lead on Naoto Sugahara's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Sugahara hit in the bottom of the eighth, left St. Louis pitcher Ze-dong Phan visibly frustrated.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said St. Louis manager Leo Cruz. "But we decided not to take it."
