Ben Alley, who is tied for 10th in the PBC in doubles with 18, had a direct impact on the outcome. Alley contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Chicago up, 4-0.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Atlanta skipper Andrew Scharbach, "and it cost us."
