Eagles Take Down Admirals, 6-3

Fans who congregated at Quebec City Grounds were treated to extra-inning drama.
Ian Estes, who led the in ERA with 2.20 in 2007, propelled his team to victory over the Quebec City Admirals. The final score was 6-3, Newark. The Eagles bumped their record to 39-31 with this latest triumph.
Kyle Gingrich drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Newark. The 21-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off T.J. Johnson. It was his 2nd walk of the season.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Quebec City manager Curtis Holtz.
