The Detroit Chargers welcomed the Hamilton Tigers to an afternoon game at Hamilton Park.

The Detroit Chargers defeated the Hamilton Tigers, 6-3, in 10 innings in Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit action at Hamilton Park. Detroit pitcher Eric McIntosh had a standout performance. Noe Lopez got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.

Josh McBride drove in one run for Detroit. The 30-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Howard Berard. It was his 20th RBI of the season.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," McIntosh said.

With the win, the Chargers improved to 33-34.
