The Las Vegas Rollers withstood a fine game by Edmonton third baseman Ed Gunder at Drillers Field, to upend the Drillers, 9-7. Gunder went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Las Vegas has rattled off 7 straight wins.

Las Vegas used a clutch at-bat from Alex Benitez to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Rollers ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I like the roll we're on right now," said Benitez after the game.
