Aguilar hits 2 home runs to Power Steelheads Offense
Vacaville left fielder Freddy Aguilar helped his team beat the Sherbrooke Canadians, 6-5. Aguilar, who finished 5th in the in extra base hits with 40 in 2007, went 2 for 4 for the Steelheads. At 34-30, the Steelheads find themselves in third place in the West Division.

Aguilar had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch splitter from Matsuyo Yoshida, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Steelheads a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Aguilar.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Aguilar told the Vacaville News.
