The Tampa Bay Thunder trumped the Los Angeles Knights, 6-5, at The Thunder Bowl. Tampa Bay third baseman Ryan Horrocks was terrific. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs. Tampa Bay has an impressive 38-14 record.

Tampa Bay took a 6-5 lead on George Pickens's 13th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Pickens hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Los Angeles pitcher Alex Arias visibly frustrated.

In postgame remarks, Horrocks said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
