Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Bruins
The Vancouver Bruins had to overcome a good performance from Southern California pitcher Paul Rudolph to claim a 2-1 win at Bruins Stadium. Rudolph went 8 innings and allowed no runs. The 5th-place Bruins hiked their record to 24-35.

The decisive blow was delivered by Dave Fisher in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 33-year old left-handed pitcher Keith Feldman to win the game for Vancouver. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Fisher said.
