Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Mexico City Aztecas and Winnipeg Buffaloes.

Despite a great performance by Winnipeg designated hitter Dennis Ziemer, the Mexico City Aztecas defeated the Buffaloes by the score of 6-5 at Estadio Azteca. Ziemer was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. With the victory, the Aztecas record stands at 24-35.
