Bruins Upend Fleetwings, 6-4

The Vancouver Bruins downed the Allentown Fleetwings, 6-4. The hitting star was designated hitter Dave Shook. Shook was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Bruins. Alexis Alvarez closed out the game, earning his 10th save. Vancouver, now 22-31, holds down 5th place in the West Division.
Vancouver used the hitting of Andrew Zavitz to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Bruins on top, 3-1. For the game, Zavitz had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Zavitz.
