Late Rally Leads to 3-1 Blues Triumph
The New York City Blues took Las Vegas pitcher Tim Keller's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Caesers Palace Colosseum. The final score had New York City getting past the Aces, 3-1. Keller went 6 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 7. Matt Baird closed it out for his 3rd save. The 4th-place Blues improved to 21-26.

New York City needed the clutch hitting of Malachi Thompson to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blues on top, 2-1. For the game, Thompson had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Thompson.
