Canadians Rally For Late Win Over Empires
Despite a great performance by Southern California left fielder Larry Edelstein, the Sherbrooke Canadians defeated the Empires by the score of 5-4 at Empires Stadium. Edelstein was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Chris LaBriola closed the game out for Sherbrooke, earning his 5th save. Sherbrooke occupies last place in the East Division at 15-25.

Juan Moctezuma came through with a big-time hit for Sherbrooke. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Southern California manager Jose Perez. "The effort was great."
