|
Mobumasu Tsuji was superb against Sherbrooke. The right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the with a 1.09 WHIP, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Empires victory. The score was 6-0. The Empires sit in first place in the West Division with a record of 23-16.
Tsuji subdued the Sherbrooke offense. The Southern California right-hander allowed a mere 3 hits over 8.1 innings, while fanning 12. His season record goes to 4-1 with the win.
"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Tsuji told the Southern California News.
