The Albany Senators withstood an impressive performance by Green Bay first baseman Kazuya Tsukamoto to defeat the Braves, 5-4, at Senators Field. Tsukamoto went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. With the win over Green Bay, the Senators improved to 22-16.
The Senators got a big at-bat from third baseman Rick Anderson. For the game, Anderson was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Albany a 2-0 lead.
