Allentown Fleetwings pitcher Pete Mellema was all business, helping his team muzzle the Winnipeg Buffaloes, 5-1. Kyle Noll closed it out for his 2nd save. The setback makes Winnipeg 18-17.

Allentown used a well-timed hit by Roger Dahm to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Fleetwings ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Allentown manager Ryan Carlson called it "a pretty good win."
