Devin Buchanan knocked in 4 runs to help Los Angeles beat Chicago, 9-8. Buchanan produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Chris Coleman came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 2-2. The Knights improved their record to 19-27 by beating Chicago.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Los Angeles. That's when Jared Blodgett, who is tied for 10th in the PBC in total bases with 90, hit a run-scoring double off Isaiah Hoffman to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Buchanan. "It made for an exciting game."
