Late Rally by Tigers Secures 4-2 Win
|
The Hamilton Tigers and Las Vegas Rollers played an exciting game.
Hamilton designated hitter Matt Sayles contributed significantly to his team's 4-2 win over the Las Vegas Rollers. Sayles, who is tied for 6th in the with a .346 batting average, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Tigers. With the win, Hamilton pushed its record to 13-9.
Bill Lazar chipped in a 2-run home run for Hamilton in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the catcher had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
After the game, Hamilton manager Jason Johnson applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
