|
Getting a good performance from left fielder Cameron Buss, the Saskatoon Moose defeated the Allentown Fleetwings, 5-3. Buss slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Moose. Earning his 2nd save for Saskatoon was Mario Estrada. The victory gives Saskatoon a record of 10-8.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, Joe White was at the plate when Saskatoon scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Moose to go in front, 4-3.
"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Allentown manager Ryan Carlson.
