Warriors Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
The Washington Warriors outlasted the Los Angeles Knights, 4-3, in 11 innings. Mike Leland played a key role, going 2-for-3 for Washington. Washington raised its record to 27-17 with the win.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Leland hit a sinker from David Gandarilla for a solo home run. The Warriors, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"If you're not prepared, it's not pressure you feel, it's fear," mused Washington manager Angel Sanchez.
