Gonzalez Hits Two Homers in 11-7 Win for Vacaville
The Vacaville Steelheads beat the Las Vegas Rollers, 11-7, at Vegas Stadium. Vacaville designated hitter Armando Gonzalez led the way. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The winning pitcher was Steve Arthur. He's now 2-1. He went 7 innings, allowing 6 runs on 6 hits for the Steelheads. The Rollers fall to 7-9 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2009 season.

Jason Robinson went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Vacaville. The 30-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the seventh.
