Caracals Rally Late to Clip Vancouver
The Calgary Caracals picked up a win at Caracals Stadium, downing the Vancouver Bruins, 4-3. On the mound for Calgary was right-hander Josh Randle, who played a pivotal role in the win. Reliever Pete Block picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Nick Green took the loss. To call the performance of the 2009 Bruins disappointing is an understatement.

Bruce McNary was the walk-off hero for Calgary. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Caracals catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Josh has got a slow heartbeat," said Calgary manager Luis Hernandez. "He doesn't panic or anything."
