Taylor Brings A-Game, Moose Beat Braves
|
Saskatoon registered a win at Moose Grounds by beating the Green Bay Braves, 5-0. Pitcher Andy Taylor was one reason why the Moose triumphed. The Braves fall to 5-7 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2009 season.
Taylor made it look easy. He scattered 5 hits over 8 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-0.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Saskatoon skipper Nick Walton.
