Eagles Collect 7-6 Win Over Rollers
The Newark Eagles got a hard-earned win over the Las Vegas Rollers, 7-6, in 11 innings. Ryan Rogers provided some offensive muscle for Newark. He was 3-6 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Las Vegas is now 2-5.

Rogers had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a first pitch sinker from Al Novack, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Eagles a 7-6 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Rogers.

"I'll play 10 innings, I'll play 20," said Eagles manager Elijah Jackson. "Whatever it takes to win the ballgame."
