Tigers Get Past Sherbrooke for 5-4 Win
The Hamilton-Sherbrooke game took longer to complete because of the rain. But it was worth it for the home team in the end.

The Hamilton Tigers knocked off the Sherbrooke Canadians, 5-4, in Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit action at Hamilton Park. Hamilton pitcher and New York, native Pat Winston had an outstanding performance. The win went to Simon Thornley in relief, making him now 1-1. Chris LaBriola took the loss for Sherbrooke.

The decisive blow was delivered by Justin Easter in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 31-year old left-handed pitcher Chris LaBriola to win the game for Hamilton. The home crowd went nuts.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Winston. "Successful pitchers do it."

Hamilton has a record of 3-2.
