The Philadelphia Keystones licked the Las Vegas Aces, 6-3. Pat Sciocchetti deserved a big chunk of the credit. The third baseman went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Keystones. Chris Roche, the winner, improved to 5-4. He held the Aces to 3 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Picking up the save was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Roger Cobos.

Matt Lopresti, who finished 2nd in the PBC in doubles with 27 in 2005, chipped in a 2-run home run for Philadelphia in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Lopresti.

The second-place Aces now sit at 23-19.
