Texans Drop Close One Late
In a low-scoring affair between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Dallas Texans, pitcher Jose Sierra was the difference between victory and defeat. The Chicago right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Blackhawks win. Bill Dingwell earned the save, his 1st, for the Blackhawks. The last-place Blackhawks now have a record of 13-20.

Chicago took the lead, 3-2, on Ryan Lynn's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Dallas pitcher Joe Levensailor in the bottom of the eighth.

After the game, Chicago manager Seth Butynski applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
