Slumping Keystones Lose 7th Straight
The Philadelphia Keystones could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Herb Morgan into a win. Instead, the Tampa Bay Thunder prevailed, 8-4. Morgan threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The win was credited to Justin Barbee in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jason Davis took the loss. The 5th-place Keystones have dropped 7 straight games.

Tampa Bay used the timely hitting of Ryan Horrocks to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Thunder on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"This game will humble you at times and you've got to buck up and deal with it," said Philadelphia manager Corey Anderson.
