Chicago got a strong outing from Jose Sierra as the Blackhawks defeated the New York City Blues, 4-2, at Trident Field. The Blackhawks go to 8-13 with the win.

Chad Hiscock had a big run-scoring double for the Blackhawks in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Chicago leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Hector Chairez and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blackhawks ahead, 4-2.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Sierra.
