The Philadelphia Keystones used an offensive barrage to beat the New York City Blues, 10-1, at Blues Field. Tom Turley led the way, going 3-for-4 for Philadelphia. The win has Philadelphia at 1-1.

With Philadelphia leading 5-1 in the top of the ninth, Turley came up to bat against New York City pitcher Bubba Ostendorf. Turley hit a fastball to right-center for a bases-clearing double. His 1st double of the season put the Keystones on top, 8-1.

New York City manager Cole Hobson called the blowout loss "not what we wanted."
