R Best Manager, Rohrback of the San Francisco (R) Peanuts Monday, October 20th , 2008 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Tyler Rohrback, he seems to have taken the San Francisco (R) Peanuts to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the PBC Rookie Complex League for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Rohrback led San Francisco (R) to a first place finish in the West Division. The Peanuts ended up with a 55-33 record. |
