Best Starter Chosen by PBC Rookie Complex League Wednesday, October 1st , 2008 In September Toronto (R) starter Jordan Marcano mystified PBC Rookie Complex League hitters and carried off the Pitcher of the Month honors by chalking up a 5-0 record in 1 starts. The 16-year-old Marcano added 29 strikeouts in 24.2 innings and 7 walks to his season record and compiled a 3.28 ERA. Opposing batters hit .208 against him. This year, Marcano has compiled a 5-1 mark with a 4.47 ERA. |
