5-for-5 Day for Clark Thursday, September 25th , 2008 It was a sensational day at the plate for Nate Clark as he led the charge to a nifty 8-6 win over the Peanuts. The Salt Lake City (R) second baseman was pure misery for the San Francisco (R) pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Clark put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Tyler Rohrback, manager for the Peanuts, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Nate Clark singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. Hitting .308 to date, Clark has 23 home runs and 51 RBIs. He has played in 73 games.
