Denver (R)'s Florncio Sidelined for Season Saturday, September 6th , 2008 Martim Florncio has to call it a season. The Denver (R) Cutthroats starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Salt Lake City (R) Coyotes and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Florncio was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. This year, Florncio has a 4-1 record and a 2.66 ERA. |
