Honore Wins Best Bat Trophy in August Monday, September 1st , 2008 Not known for his offensive prowess, Kris Honore set the league afire in August and took home the PBC Rookie Complex League Batter of the Month award. The Dallas (R) left fielder posted a steady .469 batting average, 10 home runs, 28 RBIs and 21 runs. Honore is batting at a .403 pace this season, picking up 64 hits in 159 at-bats with 13 home runs, 41 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
