That's exactly what Jesus Cabello did at PBC Rookie Development Complex, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 12-2. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Cabello said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Salt Lake City (R) Coyotes center fielder blistered the St. Louis (R) Lions for 4 hits, batted in 4 runs and scored 4 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," St. Louis (R) manager Gabe Ames said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Jesus Cabello hit a solo-shot off Carl Beamish in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Carl Beamish in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Mineyuki Matsuda in the 9th. |
